Abstract
PURPOSE:To confirm the operation of an air conditioner at a glance by a method wherein when an abnormal condition of a temperature controlling part is detected by a temperature sensor, the abnormal condition is displayed and the controlling operation is suspended during when the abnormal condition is detected, and when the operating condition returns to be normal, the display is stopped and enables the operation to proceed. CONSTITUTION:The room temperature of each room is detected by a thermistor of a room unit, the resistance value of the thermistor is transmitted to a central control unit 3 and is converted into a voltage by the control unit 3. An analog- to-digital converter 10 converts the room temperature (b) and the preset temperature of each room to digital quantities and feeds the quantities into a microcomputer 8, from which the converted signals are fed to a bar graph display tube 4 through a latch circuit 5, thereby lighting up the display tube 4. After a predetermined period of time is elapsed from the falling after the start of the conversion, the microcomputer 8 checks whether the signal level at the end of the conversion is low or high, and when the condition is found to be abnormal, a diode 11 is turned on and off.
