Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve the best diversity reception by varying the reference voltage of a comparing circuit according to an electric field which varies from a low level to a high one. CONSTITUTION:From an IF amplification part 5, a voltage which corresponds to the intensity of an electric field is led to a terminal 16. This voltage is applied to a comparing circuit 12 as the best reference voltage E's, so it is applied to a correcting circuit 17 having prescribed characteristics and its output is used as the reference voltage of a reference voltage source 14'. Therefore, the circuit 12 becomes hard to be operated in a weak electric field and only when an SN ratio is considerably low, antenna switching is performed. Further, since the voltage E's drops in an intense electric field, the circuit operates in response to small distortion and the antenna switching is achieved in an area where the SN ratio is high.
