Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the extreme dropping of the reception electric field intensity and thus to increase the communication modulus by mounting the switch element or the variable impedance element to the antenna element and giving the periodical variation to the current distribution of the antenna element.
CONSTITUTION: Switch element 15 is mounted in series to reflection element 13 among the antenna elements in order to vary the current distribution. And element 15 receives the periodical switching by driving circuit 16. Thus the current distribution varies on element 13 according to ON and OFF of element 15. Accordingly, the electric field intensity shows the arithmetic mean value by turning on and off of element 15, thus eliminating the extreme dropping of the field intensity.
