Abstract

PURPOSE:To elevate a characteristic, by applying a binder containing a vinyl chloride copolymer containing vinyl alcohol, and polyurethane resin having a -SO3N radical (M denotes an alkali metal) in a molecule, on a non-magnetic supporting body. CONSTITUTION:As for a vinyl chloride copolymer being 1 component of a binder, that which contains about 10-20wt% vinyl alcohol, and as a component of a copolymer, a compound containing a vinyl group which contains not only vinyl chloride and vinyl chlohol but also a vinyl ester of fatty acid such as vinyl acetate, methyl methacrylate, etc. is used. Polyurethane resin being another component of the binder contains a -SO3M radical (M denotes an alkali metal) in its molecule, and as far as M is concerned, Na, K, etc. are desirable. As for the radio of the -SO3M radical, 0.01-2mg equivalent/g is suitable. As for the mixing ratio of a vinyl chloride copolymer to polyurethane resin, 40-80% to 60-40% in the weight ratio are desirable. In this way, a product which is excellent in its durability is obtained.
