Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent eutrophication of rivers, sea water, lakes and marshes or the like as well as to generate no secondary environmental pollution by utilizing natural inorg. components and metal components present in soil.
CONSTITUTION: In a metal fine particle colloid solution based on iron sulfate, a high molecular dispersing stabilizer for stabilizing a colloidal state and an antioxidant are mixed to prepare the water treating agent and each component is dispersed in a colloidal state in a fine particle form or an ultrafine particle form having a particle size of 300 mesh or less, pref., 400W500 mesh. The sum of the available component amount in the above described water treating agent is pref. 0.01W2.0%, iron sulfate in the available components is pref. about 65%, trace ingradients are pref. 35% and acid clay and/or zeolite is pref. 3%. The above described water treating agents flocculate and fix polyphosphate, nitrogen compounds or the like in polluted water and prevent eutrophication of rivers or the like and generate no secondary environmental pollution.
