PURPOSE: To obtain uniformly shaped material which is free from environmental pollution, with solidifying electrostatic precipitation ash, by increasing mixing rate of resin component and other components which have an absorbing property to be mixed with electrostatic precipitation ash, so that absorption of elution components may be ensured.
CONSTITUTION: Resin component, such as polyethylene, etc., of 40W80 weight parts, components having absorbing property, such as zeolite, etc., of 5W50 weight parts, and basic component, such as slaked lime, etc., of 1W10 weight parts as occasion demands, are mixed to electrostatic precipitation ash of 5W60 weight parts, and the mixture is processed to have a uniform or irregular shape. When the resin component is increased in amount, a thick film is formed around the particle of ash. Moreover, by the increased amount of absorbing component, elution components of heavy metal, etc., can surely be absorbed. The addition of basic component adjusts pH and also plays an important role in stabilizing and solidifying heavy metals, such as Cd, etc., as hydroxides. By the multiplied effect of these components, the solidified and uniformly or irregularly shaped material made of electrostatic precipitation ash becomes more free from environmental pollution than that of before.
