Abstract

PURPOSE:To switch a PI controller continuously and quickly, by providing two integration time constants for an integrator of a proportional-position and integral action (PI) controller and setting the greater integral time constant when a controller is selected. CONSTITUTION:Two control circuits one or both of which have an integrator, and a selection circuit which selects one of the outputs of the two control circuits, are provided, and an integrator in the control circuits controlling the control variable through the output of the selection circuit is given with two large and small integration time constants. When the control circuit is selected, the time constant is switched to the larger one and when not selected, the smaller time constant is selected. For example, in the 1st and 2nd control systems in which either one is selected with a higher value priority selection circuit 40, a larger integration time constant and a smaller one are provided, and when selected, the larger one is selected through diodes DA2, DA3, DB2, DB3, allowing to perform integration control operation.
