Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable observations in sequence without performing a position control, by a method wherein an output of a control variable impedance circuit for setting a position having an observation waveform is stored at every program. CONSTITUTION:After a control variable resistance 10 for position is set in a desired position as a tube surface of a cathode-ray tube 4 is observed, with a switch 23 turned on, a range data set by a control part 7 is transferred to a memory 14, and simultaneously, a data of an A/D converter is written in a memory 31. In case an observation is performed according to a program, the data, being read out from the memory 14, is supplied to a range system observation condition set circuit 9a via a shift register 13 and a controlling decoder 9 to select a circuit. Additionallly, the data from the memory 31 is applied to a drive circuit 6 through a D/A converter 32 to set a position. This eliminates the need for the operation of a position system at each step of the program and permits the improvement of the measurement.
