Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a simple driving system capable of high speed driving by a method wherein driving data of a given pattern are outputted from a microcomputer in a certain cycle myltiplied by N and speed control is performed by switching the phase excitation of a step motor for the auxiliary scanning use. CONSTITUTION:Two kinds of data in the initial state are stored in the memory of the microcomputer 1. And when a step motor 4 is driven in a 1-2 phase excitation, a select signal S from the microcomputer 1 is entered in an AND gate group 23 passing through a NOT circuit 22 and each gate is opened. Data from the microcomputer 1 are output onto eight data buses and are set in parallel in a latch circuit 21. At the same time, the data are perfomred by one bit circular shift to be stored in a memory once more, and this processing is repeated in a certain cycle. And further, odd bit data d1-d7 are entered in a motor excitation circuit 3 via an AND gate 23 and an OR gate 25, by means of a 8 bit data d1-d8.
