Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the detection of a trouble without applying any load to a voltage converting part, by a method wherein a trouble at a voltage circuit side is detected by means of a pulse width duty cycle signal from a pulse width modulating circuit. CONSTITUTION:A pulse width duty cycle signal from a pulse width modulating circuit 12, to which an output of a voltage converting part is applied, controls an analogue switch of a time division multiplying circuit 15. The output of the multiplying circuit 15, to which an output of a voltage converting part 13 is supplied via a resistance 14, is fed to an indicator 19 via integrating circuits 16a, 16b, a voltage- frequency converting circuit 17, a frequency dividing circuit 18, and is integrated. Meanwhile, the output of the modulating circuit 12 is integrated by integrating circuits R5, C2 via a switch S1 for a given period of time, and is then fed to comparators A3 and A4. In case the output of the integrating circuit is approx.=0, a luminous diode LE emits a light via an exclusive OR circuit, a transistor Tr, and indicates a trouble. This prevents a transformer from being burdened and permits the high- precise measurement of an electric power.
