Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate trouble attributable to the expansion and contraction of the electrophoresis film, by conducting the electrophoresis process automatically using cassettes each consisting of an electrophoresis film fixed to a rigid frame. CONSTITUTION:A cassette stocker 20 stocks a plurality of electrophoresis film cassettes stacked in layers, each cassette including an electrophoresis film fixed between an upper rigid frame and a lower rigid frame. The cassette 21 taken out of the cassette stocker 20 is immersed in a buffer liquid in a cell 30 so as to be moistened and is then supplied to a specimen supplying means 40. Blood serum is sucked up from a schale by an applicator 40. The means 40 applies blood serum to the cassette 21. The cassette 21 now applied with the specimen is transferred by an electrophoresis cell 60 along a conveyor line 51 by means of a handler 50. The number of the cell 60 is suitably determined in accordance with the time length of the electrophoresis, number of specimen and so forth. Electric power is supplied to the electrophoresis film to effect the electrophoretis process. The cassette 21 after the proces is transfer red, through a coloring cell 70A and a decoloring cell 70B, to a drying means 80 for dryting, and is then measured by a measuring means 90.
