Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect a coupling accuracy failure and obtain the size and the position of a correcting weight to make a correction therefor, by detecting the oil pressure of a plain bearing and the rotation and the phase angle of a rotating shaft. CONSTITUTION:A rotating shaft 2 generates an oil pressure proportional to the statically determinate bearing load resulting from a coupling accuracy failure and the bend of the shaft. Through a valve 4, said pressure is detected by means of a pressure detector 5 and converted into an electric signal by means of a converter 6. On the other hand, the bearing temperature is detected by means of a thermocouple 7, passed through an amplifier 8 and inputted through a signal reader 10 to an arithmetic device 11. Moreover, the rotation and the phase angle of the rotating shaft are detected by means of a rotation and phase angle detector 9 and inputted through the signal reader 10 to the arithmetic device 11, where the size and direction of a bearing load F are calculated from the pressure sensitivity alpha, the revolution number (n) and the bearing oil temperature (t) and displayed of a display device 12 as well as recorded in a recorder 13, and an alarm signal is sent to an alarm device 15 according to need.
