Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of the insulation of a rotary electric machine by employing a guide plate which guides a coil bridged over segment surface of a segment stators in a stator when assembling the segment stators, thereby lowering the height of a lifting coil. CONSTITUTION:When segmented stators 1, 2 are assembled, a guide plate 10 which guides a coil bridged over the segment surfaces 3 to the inner surface 4 of the stator are employed. A lifting coil 7' of ultrafine amount of the degree to which the plate 10 can be inserted is provided, and segment surfaces 3 are bonded under the guidance of the plate 10. Thereafter, the plate 10 is removed, the coil bridged over the surfaces 3 is moved and is assembled with a slot 5. Since the segmented stators are assembled in this manner, the height of the lifting coil can be lowered. Accordingly, the coil can be inserted into the slot without unreasonable force. Therefore, the damage of the insulation due to the lifting coil can be prevented.
