Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the casting of aluminum molten into the slit of double squirrel cage aluminum casting rotor by modifying the slit.
CONSTITUTION: Punched laminated iron plate 13, for example, having enlarged deep groove fully closed groove 11 is placed between the laminations at desired position of rotor core 14 in double squirrel cage groove, then the aluminum molten is flowd through the deep groove 11 into the upper conductor 1 and the slit 2 at the double squirrel carge groove. Consequently the aluminum molten can be filled smoothly into the double squirrel cage groove of entire rotor core.
