Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the collection of the scraped-off toner, by providing a plate type sealing member for preventing toner at the lower end part of an opening and securing a >=90 deg. angle formed by a horizontal line drawn from the tip of the sealing member toward the inside of a casing and the upper and lower surfaces of the sealing member. CONSTITUTION:A sealing member 11 has a plate shape which is long in the longer axis direction of a photoreceptor drum 1, and the lower end part of the member 11 is attached to a casing 7. While the upper end part of the member 11 touches directly or faces with a slight gap to the circumferential surface of the drum 1. Furthermore theta>=90 deg. is satisfied for the angle theta formed by a horizontal line H-H drawn from the tip P of the member 11 toward the inside of the casing 7 and the upper and lower surfaces of the member 11. As a result, the toner sticking to the circumferential surface of the drum 1 is scraped off by a cleaning blade 3 after passing the area of the member 11.
