Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce weight of a suspension device by making it in such a manner as generating no torsion on an accelerator beam and realizing a closed section favorable in view of strength. CONSTITUTION:At least one of a pair of trailing arms 6, 6, for example, an arm 6 on the right is rotatably connected to an accelerator beam 4 through a ball bearing 8 and the like. In this case, the arm 6 on the left is rigidly tied to the beam 4. Since the accelerator beam 4 is positioned in the longitudinal and vertical directions by means of a pair of trailing arms 6, 6 and also positioned in the lateral direction by means of Panhard rod 5, one of two arms 6, 6 would rotate freely in relation to the beam 4 if there should be a difference in a stroke position between two wheels 3, 3, no torsion thus being made on the beam 4.
