PURPOSE:To improve the abrasion and seizure resisting properties of a titled device which is in contact with a material in hot rolling, by making said device of a steel having special tissue containing C, Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, Co, Mo, W, and Cu. CONSTITUTION:The guiding device in hot rolling line is made of a steel having the following compositions, by weight percent, 0.3-3.0% C, <=2.0% Si, <=2.0% Mn, 15-40% Cr, 15-60% Ni alone or sum of Ni and Co (where <=10% Co) 0.5-6.0% one or more kinds of Mo and W, <=10.0% Cu, and more when required, 0.2-5.0% one or more kinds of Ti, Zr, V, Nb, Ta, and Al, the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
