PURPOSE:To automatize the initialization of time information of a system timer and the update of this information in the on-line control, by receiving radio broadcasting waves in a time counting device to separate and detect a time casting signal and outputting automatically corrected digital time information. CONSTITUTION:Radio waves of a broadcast station 6 are received in a time counting device 5 of a computer system 10, and time signal is separated and detected to generate and output corrected digital time information. Consequently, when a seizing signal is given to a CPU 2, the initializing program of the on-line control is executed, and digital time information automatically corrected with the time signal is inputted from the time counting device 5 and is set to a system timer. In the on-line control, since the time casting signal detected by the time counting device 5 is outputted to the CPU 2 as an interrupt signal, the system timer is updated at a prescribed period.
