Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the device multifunctional and to reduce a packing size thereof for transportation by providing the main body of the printer with a removable printed-sheet discharging part consisting of discharge rollers discharging printed paper sheets and of a tray receiving the discharged sheets. CONSTITUTION:pins 20a and 20b are fitted to the main body 10 of the printer and, through the intermediary of retaining members 21 and 22 provided with longitudinally-long holes 21a and 21b engaged with the pins 20a and 20b, the paper-sheet discharging part 19 consisting of the discharge rollers 28, 29 discharging the sheets printed at a printing part and of the tray 33 receiving the dischanged sheets is fitted to the main body. This constitution enables easy removal of the paper-sheet discharging part 19 from the main body 10. That is, a lever 25 is turned in the direction of an arrow B to release a hook part 25a from the pin 20a, and later the part 19 is lifted to draw out the longitudinally- long holes 21a and the laterally-long hole 21b from the pins 20a and 20b, respectively.
