Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify a manual feeding of single-sheet media by forming a slit for inserting a single-sheet medium manually between the back side of a stacker and a bottom of an automatic sheet feeding apparatus accomodating printed single-sheet media in the back space of the stacker.
CONSTITUTION: A slit 16 is formed between the back side 7a of a stacker 7 and a bottom 7b. In order to feed single-sheet media manually stop an automatic feeding and insert a single-sheet medium through the slit 16. The medium is guided along a medium guide plate 8 and printed during the period from being supplied through a supply port, and passing through the clearance between guide rollers 3, 4 and discharge rollers 5, 6, and discharged in the stacker 7. Owing to this constitution, single-sheet media can be manually fed with ease.
