Abstract

PURPOSE:To deal with a plurality of originals in block, by placing the originals to be fed to the originals feeder of a copying machine in a cassette detachably fixing the cassette to a guide plate, and feeding many sheets of originals contained there one by one in succession to an exposure device. CONSTITUTION:The main body 4 of a copying machine is provided with guide plate 6, separating roller 2, reversing roller 3, register rollers 5, feed rollers, etc. Detachable original containing cassette 21 is mounted on plate 6. Cassette lock claw 18 rotatable about shaft 19 with spring 20 protrudes out of hole 21b in the bottom of plate 6. Cassette 21 is released by pushing lock release lever button 2b and releasing claw 18 via lever 24. When the originals are fed, the front end of cassette 21 presses cover 14 against spring 16 to raise bar 12, so it swings roller 7 anticlockwise, and engages it with the uppermost original O.
