Abstract

PURPOSE:To electrically impart a dash pot effect to a throttle valve by increaing the target value toward a direction in which the throttle valve is opened when the throttle valve is not closed, to set the fully closed position at an opened state in response to the target value. CONSTITUTION:A fully closed position target valve V0 is converted to VO+V1 for discriminating whether the rotational speed N is higher than the set value N0+DELTAN which is higher than the target rotational speed N0 of the closed loop control, when the fully closed switch 19 is opened, that is, the accelerator is stepped on by the operator and the throttle valve 3 is separated from the fully closed position while the vehicle is travelling. Thereafter, when V>V0, a DC motor 6 is rotated reversely by one step, and simultaneously the throttle valve fully closed position stored in RAM is corrected by a part corresponding to a quantity rotated reversely by the DC motor. When V<=V0, the DC motor 6 is normally rotated and the throttle valve fully closed position is corrected.
