Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve a device with easy handling and very less power consumption, by using a liquid crystal with different refractive indexes at the application of a voltage and at the nonapplication, and controlling the progressing direction of incident light flux. CONSTITUTION:A photographic lens 22 connected to a camera main body 21 is constituted with optical elements 22a, 22b, 22c and they are interchangeable. A light from an object is made incident to an optical deflection means 23 provided with a camera main body 21 via a filter removable as required, and optical elements 22a, 22b, 22c. Since the means 23 has a reflecting characteristic at the normal state where no voltage is applied, the progressing direction of incident light flux is switched to upper side as shown in figure, and the object can be visuallized via a focusing screen 24, a condenser lens 25, a penta prism 26, and an eyepiece 27. At this observation, in response to an output of a photodetector 29 provided at the back of the penta prism 26 or photodetector 28 provided at the side of the focusing screen 24, display alarm for exposure information such as shutter time, diaphgram information, and that for photographic information can be achieved in a finder.
