Abstract
PURPOSE: To make possible displaying at all times by using a liquid crystal cell.
CONSTITUTION: A known liquid crystal cell 6 comprising enclosing field effect type liquid crystal material by the glass flat plates sandwiched by a pair of polarizing plates and applied with specified patterns 7 is disposed between a pentagonal prism 1 and a condenser lens 3 and is connected to a driving circuit 8. Then, a driving circuit 8 operates the date relating to the aperture value, shutter speed value and the brightness of the subject being inputted and drives the liquid crystal cell 6 based on the results thereof, thereby driving and displaying the required portions of the patterns 7. Since the power consumption of the liquid crystal cell 6 is considerably smaller than that of an ammeter type and a light emission type, it becomes possible to make display at all times by keep driving the liquid crystal cells 6 at all times.
