Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide the device which is compact but causes less decrease in the accuracy of distance measurement by inclining a photo splitting means by 30W50° with respect to the perpendicular line and making this inclined finder luminous flux nearly parallel to the photographing luminous flux by the erecting reflecting system having odd number reflecting surfaces.
CONSTITUTION: The subject light passed through a zoom system 1 is bisected to photographing luminous flux and finder luminous flux by way of a half prism 2 which is inclined 30W50° with respect to the perpendicular line. The photographing luminous flux forms the subject image on a solid-state image sensing element 4 by way of a master system 3. On the other hand, the finder luminous flux is inclined by the half prism 2 and is changed of its optical path about 90° in the upward direction by a prism 10 having a perpendicular reflecting surface. This optical path is converted nearly parallel to the photographing optical path by way of an objective lens 5, a reflecting mirror 11 having parallel reflecting surface, and a reflecting mirror 6 inclined by 45° and forms the subject image on a focus glass 7. This image is observed by an eyepiece lens 9.
