Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve productivity through reduction of operation time by providing a longitudinally moving carriage and a pair of traversing carriages which transfer, stand by and move with respect to this, and mounting various working devices on the respective traversing carriages. CONSTITUTION:Rotary metallic molds 1 are driven, and the 2nd traversing carriage 8 held transferred on a longitudinally moving carriage 3 is moved toward the molds 1, and the inside surfaces of the molds 1 are treated with a working device 10, after which the carriage is returned to the stand-by position. Next, a moving device 11 operates and the device 11 moves to the carriage 3 side, then the 1st, 2nd traversing carriages 7, 8 move leftward. The 2nd carriage 8 transfers on the other stand-by guide rails 6 and the 1st carriage 7 tranfers on the traversing rails 4 of the carriage 2. Therefore, if both carriages 7, 8 are fixed with positioning devices, the carriage 3 advances, and molten metal is poured into the molds 1 from the ladle 30 of the carriage 7 after which the carriage is returned to the stand-by position.
