Abstract

PURPOSE:To transmit information accurately, by generating information of a difference value from information of coordinate values of two points, which a pattern input device transmits continuously, and obtaining an interpollation point so that information of the difference value becomes lower than a standard value when information of the difference value is larger than the standard value. CONSTITUTION:Information of coordinate values of a pattern including hand-written character and symbol is extracted and inputted as a prescribed sampling period in a pattern input device 1 and is held temporarily in a transmission buffer 3 as information of less redundancy by a processing circuit 2 and is transmitted by every prescribed quantity and is demodulated and modulated by a demodulating and modulating circuit and is transmitted to a line 5. In the processing circuit 2, the difference between continuously inputted information of coordinate values is compared with a standard value, and information is sent to the transmission buffer as it is when the difference is smaller than the standard value; but if the difference is larger than the standard value, the middle between two continuous points from the input device 1 is selected as an interpolation point, and the difference between this interpollation point and inputted points is operated, and this operation is repeated until the difference is equal to or smaller than the standard value, and information is sent to the transmission buffer 3.
