Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Electrolytically colored Al or an Al alloy is subjected to temporary pore sealing treatment and this temporary pore sealed colored alumite material is used as an anode and electrolyzed in a barrier film growing type bath to coat the surface of said alumite material with a high resistance film. After this treatment, this material to be subjected to electrodeposition painting subjected to the anode preliminary electrolytic treatment is further subjected to the electrodeposition painting in an electrodeposition paint bath by using constant-current and, by this treatment, a coating with a uniform thickness is obtained.
