The pin 11a is inserted into a cam groove 12a and the cam groove 12a is provided continuously within the range of a distance A as shown in the figure. The gear 12b on the outside circumference of a cam cylinder 12 and the gear 8a of a motor 8 are meshed. If with this constitution the motor 8 is rotated, a photographing lens 6 moves between a near distance position and a remote distance position at prescribed intervals and focuses continuously, thus the photographing frames during this time are recorded in a prescribed recorder. Then, if the image of the highest focus within one period is enlarged, a sharp photograph wherein a criminals face is visible is obtained.
