Abstract

Thus, the airtight construction in which the optical fiber core is arranged in the resin in spiral, has small possibility for the movement of the core under a hydrostatic pressure, allowing to achieve the small sized termination for the submarine optical cable. As the material of the cylinder 8', ceramic and resin rubber as well as metal can be used.
