Abstract
PURPOSE:To solve the deficiency of the width of an ingot and to improve yield by expanding the spacing between the water-cooled walls of the side faces of a mold continuously in order to prevent the formation of the parts where the width is short by expanding the width of the ingot during continuous casting. Thereby, the deficiency of the width of the ingot is solved easily and surely and the ingot of uniform width is cast.
