Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize the space of a resonator sufficiently even by an electrostrictive element having small conpensation enabling distance width by compensating the variation width of the length of a resonator supporter generated due to the variation of temperature by the electrostrictive element and a temperature control system. CONSTITUTION:Reflectors 4A, 4B are fixed at both ends of the resonator supporter 1. With the electrostrictive element 3, its length is changed by an optical detector 7 detecting the oscillating frequency of a laser 5, a phase difference detector and a power supply 8 for modulation, and it compensates the elongation of the supporter 1 due to a temperature rise. Control signals C applied to the element 3 are taken out as electrostrictive element monitoring signals M, and correct set temperature signals S. The temperature signals corrected are added to an amplifier 24, and the temperature of the supporter 1 is controlled. Accordingly, the range of compensation to the variation of the length of the supporter 1 is increased because the temperature of the supporter 1 is controlled in relation to the signals C.
