Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate ghost correctly while relaxing the necessary precision of a circuit by supplying an output signal to a transversal filter which uses the accumulated value of impulse response of ghost in the output signal as a coefficient, and using a difference between an input signal and a filter output as an output signal. CONSTITUTION:From a step signal in an output signal from an output terminal 4, a differentiating circuit 2 finds impulse response, and a ghost component in the impulse response at each time is supplied to accumulation circuits 10a-10z of a transversal filter through a switch circuit 9. The sum of the products of outputs of the circuits 10a-10z and the output value of a shift register 5 is found by multipliers 6a-6z, and an adder 7. Further, a difference between the output of the adder 7 and the input signal is found by a subtracter 8. When the output signals of the multipliers 6a-6z do not correspond to the ghost component and the ghost component appears at the terminal 4, the remaining ghost component is supplied to the circuits 10a-10z again to eliminate the remaining ghost lastly, thus eliminating the ghost correctly.
