Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the furnace beat resistant performance in a thin heat exchanger in which circulation inlet and outlet are provided at the lower and upper parts by forming a gradient inclining upwardly at an adequate angle with respect to the flowing direction at the heat exchanging elements and the circulation outlet.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of heat exchanging elements 1 having a fin pipe 2 and fins 3 are arranged in a heating width direction, the inlet 4 of the elements 1 is connected to a heat exchange assembly 6 having a circulation inlet 5, and the outlet 7 is connected to a heat exchange assembly 9 having a circulation outlet 8. A water can 10 is disposed at each of both sides of the heating width direction of the assemblies 6, 9. In a heat exchanger for a bath furnace thus constructed, an upward gradient is formed in the flowing direction at each of the fin pipe 2 of the heat exchanging elements 1 and the outlet 8. Inthis case, the gradient of the fin pipe 2 is formed larger than that of the outlet 8, and the angles of the gradient of the fin pipe 2 and the outlet 8 are preferably 5W7° and 2W3° respectively.
