Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep the temperatures of cold and hot waters at prescribed temperature at all times in a circulating water tank for heat accumulation of an air conditioning system utilizing solar energy, by providing a partition plate vertically movably in said tank, and moving the partition plate automatically and vertically in accordance with the inflow and outflow of the hot and cold waters.
CONSTITUTION: In the daytime on a fine day in winter, valves 6A, 6F are opened, all other valves are closed, then a pump 2 is worked to deliver water in the circulating water tank 11 into an energy collecting panel 1 so as to heat the water, and then the water is returned to the tank 11 to be stored therein. In this case, the partition plate 14 is placed at the lowest part of the tank 11. Then, when it is required to heat the interior of a house at night, the valves 6D, 6B, 6G are opened, other valves are all closed, and the hot water in the tank 11 is introduced through an outlet 12 to a heat exchanger 12, and then is returned into the tank 11 via an inlet 13. In this case, the partition plate 14 is elevated by a moving mechanism 21 through wires 15 in accordance with the inflow and outflow of the hot water, so that the hot water over the partition plate 14 and the cold water below it are prevented from being mixed with each other.
