Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the burning efficiency as well as to save a fuel, by atomizing and mixing a liquid fuel such as kerosene, heavy oil or the like and water, and burning the fuel.
CONSTITUTION: A burning cylinder 1 is preheated by an auxiliary burner 16, and in this state a liquid fuel is fed into a vaporization chamber 4 via an oil feeding pipe 3 to vaporize. The vaporized fuel is pumped via an oil delivering pipe 5 into a gas mixing chamber 7. On the other hand, the water supplied into a water supplying pipe 6 that spirally extends along the inner surface of the burning cylinder 1 is heated and vaporized, and this vapor is also pumped into the gas mixing chamber 7. Thus, the vaporized fuel is mixed and gasified such that an oil film is formed on each water vapor particle. The resulting gaseous fuel is passed via a pressure adjusting chamber 9 and a gas chamber 10 to a nozzle 13 through which the fuel is jetted and is burned by the preheated air in the preheating cylinder 15.
