Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a shroud and a fin from making contact with each other and improve sealing effect by enlarging an expansion chamber in such a way as forming a space on an inner face of the shroud facing a moving blade tip, and providing within the opening of the space leaf springs whose free ends confront the leak prevention fins. CONSTITUTION:Leak prevention fins 2a, 2b at the end of a moving blade 1 confront a turbine shroud 3 attached to a casing 4. A circumferential space 6 is formed on the inner circumference face 3a of the shroud confronting the moving blade 1, and leaf springs 7,8 are provided on the both sides of an opening of the space 6. An expansion chamber 9 is formed by the leaf springs 7,8, the turbine shroud 3, the moving blade 1, and fins 2a, 2b. The right space 10 of the fin 2a is called a high pressure side and the left space 11 of the fin 2b is a low pressure side. Consequently, the free ends of the leaf springs 7,8 can bend and get out of the fins 2a, 2b due to differential pressure of fluid, thus attaining the expected purpose.
