Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the heat exchange efficiency of fins, by arranging projects on each fin that extend in a direction normal to the flow of a heat transfer fluid. CONSTITUTION:Fins 3 each are inserted and supported in slits 5a of an arranging jig 5a with a certain interval therebetween, but the sections 4 of the fins 3 is kept in the same level as that of the fins 3. A refrigerant piping 2 is associated with support slits 6 for it arranged in the fins 3, and after securing the piping 2 tightly into the slits 6 of the fins 3, the jig 5 is removed, and the sections 4 of the array are projected from the outer fin 3 by forcing a projection creating jig 8 in the direction shown by an arrow C. Thus the fins are formed to have the projections, thereby the heat exchange can be improved.
