Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform sure tracking by omitting a part of a rosette pattern coordinate signal writing time and displaying information on the signal taking-in region and tracking coordinates set for the purpose of selection of targets during this time. CONSTITUTION:The IR radiation light from a target is made incident to a detector 5, is subjected to amplifying 6, automatic gain controlling 7 and comparing 8, where the target is detected. The signals synchronized with the rotation of a secondary mirror 3 and a wedge 4 are taken out with a pickup sensor 9, and are subjected to pulse shaping 10, function generating 11 and subtraction 12, whereby a rosette pattern coordinate signal RPS in bearing and elevation angles is obtained. This is inputted to the (xy) of a CRT 13 and the output of the comparator 8 to the (x) of the CRT 13. The RPS from the subtaractor 12 is passed through a gate pulse generating circuit 14, by which an AND 15 is determined together with the output of the comparator 8, and the bearing and elevation RPS is dispensed, whereby only the target coordinate singal in the gate is outputted and a tracking signal YT is outputted 17. The RPS and the target pattern are displayed simultaneously as shown in the figure by changing over electronic switches 19a-19c simultaneously.
