Abstract
PURPOSE:To indicate a caught target under a miniature and simple constitution by displaying a target based on an angular coordinate signal in the direction of an azimuth and an elavation in an instantaneous visual field in the rosette scan infrared ray tracking system. CONSTITUTION:A pulse string signal which rotary angle frequency is synchronized to the revolutions of W1, W2 secondary mirrors 3 and a wedge 4 is generated by means of a pickup sensor 9. Then if a function generator 11 is accessed based on the said pulse string signal as an address, a required function value is read out and then is added to a subtractor 12. Following this process, arithmetic operation takes place under formulae I and II, angular coordinates X, Y in the direction of an elevation and an azimuth in an instantaneous visual field, are decided. These signals X, Y and a target catching signal through a detector 5, a comparator 8, etc. are added to a display unit 13. On the display unit 13, indications 18a, 18b lacking in part of a rosette indication are displayed. Consequently, a caught target is displayed under a simple and miniature constitution and decision on the catching of a target is made easily and certainly. Here psi1, psi2 mean a wedge apex angle and an angle between a secondary mirror and a rotary shaft.
