Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve the reliable reduction of the liquid by providing more than one sheet of partitioning boards in a frame of an electrode box while extending the electrolyte path from the electrolyte guide port to a liquid-permeble chlorine pole plate. CONSTITUTION:An electrode box 7 is formed by a conductive frame 3 by arranging a liquid-nonpermeable zinc plate 1 and a liquid-permeable chlorine plate 2 back to back, then the electrolyte is fed through a guide port 4 and passed through the chlorine plate 2 to be exhausted through an electrolyte exhaust port 4'. The interior of said frame 3 is made hollow and partitioned by a plurality of partitioning boards extending in the side direction thus to form a path 14 extending in zigzag from said port 4 to the side direction. Consequently the structure is simplified without providing the thin section on the pipe between an electrolyte circulating pump and said box resulting in the highly reliable liquid reduction.
