Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve flame holding capacity by a method wherein connecting holes are provided so as to connect small flame forming zones with a fuel injection passage on a fuel injection passage forming shroud of the captioned valve in the form of an air asistor so as to produce an ejector effect.
CONSTITUTION: In nearly axial sections of circular concave grooves 20 with connecting holes 22 are provided forced circulating flows 24 which run backward with jet flows 18 at the bottoms 20a of the concave grooves 20, pass through the connecting holes 22 and are induced from openings 23 forcedly by ejector action and then join the jet flows 18 again. Moreover, circulating vortexes 21 are produced in forced circulating flows 24. In this manner, the vortex flow of the circulating vortexes 21 is strengthened constantly and stabilized. Thus, the flame holding can be strengthened and stabilized.
