Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the ratio of the supply rate of main fuel to that of auxiliary duel correctly, by increasing the supply rate of auxiliary fuel with increasing in the injection quantity of main fuel, and controlling the level of electric power used for driving an ultrasonic oscillator.
CONSTITUTION: Quantity of VQ injected per unit time is applied to an addition circuit 34, which adds an output signal VW produced by an engine temperature detecting means 35 to an output signal VQ produced by a multiplication circuit 33 and applies the sum of these two signals to an amplifying circuit 36 as a control signal V1 corresponding to the final quantity of main fuel injected per unit time. An ultrasonic oscillator 13 is driven by amplifying the wave height of a high-frequency signal produced by a high-frequency oscillation circuit 37 in proportion to the above control signal V1. With such an arrangement, the quantity of auxiliary fuel supplied to an intake passage 4 via a fuel atomizing means 7 can be made proportional to that of main fuel.
