PROCESS: Butanediol shown by the formula III is reacted with a carboxylic acid shown by the formula IV or its active derivative to give a 2,3-butanediol monoester derivative shown by the formula V, which is reacted with a carboxylic acid shown by the formula R3-COOH or its reactive derivative to give a compound shown by the formulaI.
