PURPOSE:To reduce the number of control signal lines to only one, by providing not only the first shift register for series-parallel-converting signal but also the second shift register for series-parallel-converting a control signal to be applied to an output control terminal of sais register. CONSTITUTION:A control signal inputted in series to a control signal input terminal 7 is inputted to the second shift register 8 having the same number of stages as the number (n) of groups of the first shift register 5, and is outputted in parallel to output control terminals 61-6n. For instance, when the number of heating elements 1 is 1728 pieces and the number (n) of groups of the first shift register 5 is made 54 groups by making the number of stages per 1 group 32 stages, in case of recording 1 line portion, at first, a control signal by which outputs of 7 groups of SR1-SR7 are turned on is inputted to the second shift register 8.
