Abstract
PURPOSE:To prolong contact time of a toner with hot air stream and to perform efficiently spheroidization of a toner, adhesion of external additives, etc. by making the air stream contacting the toner come into collision with the hot air stream in an approximate same quantity from the opposite direction of the same axis. CONSTITUTION:An air stream having approximately normal temperature that containing the atomized toner by a toner spray nozzle 6 is sent in the direction of A. On the other hand, a heated air stream hot by a heater 7 and of the approximately same quantity as the air stream 2 is sent in a direction B opposite to A in the same axis. The toner is collected through a collecting opening 8 while processed by the heat. The toner, if necessary, is cooled in the middle way of a collecting route by cooling air introduced by a cooling air introducing opneing 9, and collected from a discharge opening 11 passing through a 100 mesh sieve 10.
