Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the thermal recording sheet wherein no transition of a plasticizer to a color development layer and no lowering of printing density, etc. are caused even when the sheet is kept close to a film containing the aforesaid plasticizer, by providing on a supporting body the color develpment layer to which a fluoride surfactant. CONSTITUTION:The color development layer is formed by making the fluoride surfactant (wherein the number of carbon is about 5-30: e.g. perfluoroalkylcarboxylic salt) of 3-15wt% contained therein. That is, the color development layer formed of a mixture of a colorless color-developing dye (ex.: 3-diethylamino-6- methyl-7-anilinofluoran), an electron acceptor substance (ex.: 4,4'-isopropylidinediphenol) developing the color of the aforesaid dye in the heat, the aforesaid fluoride surfactant and a binder (ex.: polyvinylalcohol) is provided on the supporting body to constitute the thermal recording sheet. In addition, a method wherein a protection layer containing the fluoride surfactant is provided on the color development layer not containing the fluoride surfactant is also effective.
