Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate malfunction such as chattering and water hammer by starting the water supply when the level comes down to the supply start level specified and stopping when the supply stop level is restituted.
CONSTITUTION: When the water level comes down to about the middle point between No.1 level 65 (water supply stop) and No.2 level 67 (supply start), No.1 aux. valve 5 is opened but no water is given out of the outlet 35 because No.2 aux. valve 7 is still held in closed position. When the level sinks further to attain No.2 level 67 or gets below it, the valve 7 is automatically opened, and then a self-operating valve 3 will open to sink the internal pressure of No.2 pressure chamber 39. Then the valve element 29 is opened to start the water supply. When No.2 level is restituted the valve 7 is shut, but the self- operating valve 3 keeps it open because the valve 5 is still held in open position. The valve 5 is closed first when the level attains No.1 level 65 and the water supply is now stopped.
