Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent damage of a tubular membrane by stopping or starting a pump while a valve of a bypass circuit of a stock liquid supply pump is gradually opened or closed when operation of a tubular membrane module is started or stopped.
CONSTITUTION: For example, in order to stop operation of a tubular module, a push button 82 for stopping a pump of a valve control circuit 8 is pushed. By this manipulation, the valve 5 of a bypass circuit 4 is gradually opened from a closed condition and, when said valve is fully or almost fully opened, the pump 2 is stopped. Further, in order to re-operating said module after the operation thereof is stopped, a push button 81 for starting the pump of the valve control circuit 8 is pushed. By this manipulation, the valve 5 of the bypass circuit 4 is gradually closed from an opened condition and, after opening operation of the valve 5 is started, the pump 2 is started.
