CONSTITUTION: Sodium or ammonium salts of ethylene bis-dithiocarbamic acid are added directly at equal mole or over to solid or liquid waste contg. heavy metals such as cadmium, lead, mercury, copper, and zinc. Then, the heavy metals in the waste bind to the ethylene bis-dithiocarbamate, and forms insoluble metallic salts.
